Your Depressing Stat of the Day

Jonas Gustavsson:

In 10 starts, has a 3-6-1 record.

With a .917 SV%, he is tied for 9th among all 1/1A goalies in the league.

With a 2.45 GAA, he is 9th among all 1/1A goalies.

For comparison: Luongo is 2.72, .911 with a 9-7-2 record. Miller is 2.55, .914, with a 7-7-2 record.

So, really:

1) Does this not tell you how much better this team would be if it could put pucks in the net?

2) If this doesn't prove Gustavsson: a) isn't carrying the team on his back; b) shouldn't be the starter of this team, I don't know what will.

I need a drink.
